The Story
The Davis Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) transmitter has a backup power unit to keep it running overnight in the form of a Super-Capacitor which is charged during the day by the solar panel.
If your are finding that your Pro2 wireless transmitter is failing to send data throughout the night (specifically just before sunrise) or a replacement battery only lasts a few weeks you may well require a Super-Capacitor replacement.
Our service includes:
- installation of a new 25F Super-Capacitor
- complete charge cycle testing via solar panel and battery
- complete discharge cycle testing
- transmitter testing (UK models only)
- return UK postage of product
Please ensure the sensor suite transmitter unit is shipped including your solar panel for testing, but without the lithium battery.
An insured courier service covering up to £175 is recommended.
